their drinking water from summer hot to winter frozen. In the extremem cases of winter the breeder will go out and thaw the water for daytime consumption. many times I have gone out and the frozen water has been cracked and the parrot has taken a drink. I am in agreement with the people that said tap temperature is fine. a more important part of drinking water is changing it so it will not have slime on the side of the bowl or discoloration by pellets or other eatables. This is one ot the disadvantages of having a water container that only has to be changed every week or more. If you live in my area we all know the saying of "slime" in the ice machine? so fresh clear water and out of the sun if your feathered friend is outside. Don't let anything hurt your joy! |
