So, my hubby and I were out antiquing today and we came across a shop called Rhonda's Aviary in Pace, FL. We figured we'd check it out, because I am on a mission to find Ziggy a boing. We go in there and found walls full of toys (manufactured and hand made...cool stuff). But no boings, so we wander over to the birdies to check them out. Went to see if they had any blue girl parakeets (thinking about getting the boys girl friends) and just had fun talking to the quakers and the 'tiels. They had a sun conure chilling out on his perch, who my husband got interested in him and tried to interact. Next thing I know, I hear wings and feel something on my shoulder. The lil sunny came to see me and immediately started to give me kisses and try to feed me. I was really entertained about how friendly and affectionate he was. The shop owners were pretty surprised as well. Had I had the means, I would have brought him home, but the three and an expectant baby just makes a full apartment right now. Anyone in the Pensacola area should check the shop out, it's a nice local business that has a lot of great stuff!
