Stupid Question

Hey there yall, got a stupid question here for ya. Well see Petey wants so badly to play with Oscar, but Oscar cant stand him. Petey will fly over to see me and get loved on, but as soon as he sees Oscar, he's off to his cage wanting to play, but Oscar just does his "big bird" routine as I call it (feathers all up and out, hissing like a cat) and then he tries to bite Petey.
So I was thinking of getting a playmate for Petey. Now he still has 2 sisters waiting for homes, but my question is, if I brought home one of his sisters, would they like know they were related and not breed or would I be better off getting another baby from somewhere else thats not related? I mean if I could find a male that he gets along with I'd rather that, but if he wouldnt do anything with his sister I would rather jsut do that.
I know stupid question but want to make sure before I go spending the money.
Vicki

They will not know that they are related. My male babies spent so much time singing and trying to impress their sister that they would start fighting with each other. I ended up taking her out of the cage. If you get a young male that has been raised with other babies and used to being around other birds then it might be ok. Keep in mind though that even if you were to get a female there is no guarantee they will get along. It might actually make things worse if Oscar ends up liking her as well. They might really start fighting then.

Well Oscar and Petey are kept separate, and Petey was raised with his sisters and was very close to one of them. My biggest concern is if they were to ever start trying to breed.
Im thinking my best bet is to try and get a male from another clutch, as his only other siblings left are females, he was the only male from the clutch. I just dont wanna take any chances, I just feel for him not having somebody to play with. he is still only 3 months old, so he's a youngin. I'll just keep an eye out fora baby male from another clutch.
Thanks :)
