Tampa area rescue

I have a quaker in the Tampa area that needs a good home.

It is a male quaker named Petey in a foster home, age unknown who has been shuttled around quite a bit since his owner developed health problems. He is a sweet bird who likes woman. so here are your qualifications.
1, Must be a Bird Board member in good standing for at least 3 month and have at least fifty posts. I want to know you are an active member and sticking around birdboard. I will consider members of Nancy's group ********** who have moved over here as long as they were members in good standing in her old group.
2. Must live in the Tampa area within a two hour drive. No shipping.
3. Most important you must be a woman.
4. You must be ready to accept Petey and all his rescue luggage. You must be ready to work with him if he has problems adjusting.

If I can't find someone for Petey in a few days I will have to take him in. I know if I do I will fall in love. I want a quaker but just have to many birds at this time.

I answered your PM. I am glad you are going to think on this. It is something that requires serious thought and I like the fact you don't want to make an impulse descion.
