Water, water everywhere... (poll)

To paraphrase:
"Water, water everywhere... and still the birds did shriek. Water, water everywhere... but is it fit to drink?"

How do you water your birds... and just how well does it work?

I made this poll so you could choose more than one answer... in case you are like me and use more than one method!

I give my guys a bottle which they normally drink from and their water bowls are for dunking or baths.

yep, water bowls here. Now and then becomes soup, but it is only when something sinks and the poor baby doesn't want to stick his head under water.

Water bowl, which also doubles as Chico's nighttime spot and bathroom.

Water bowls. I don't mind the soup, I change them several times a day for the inside birds. For the breeders, I use two water bowls in the feeding tray with automatic watering thingies, and flush them daily by hand.

However, my other methods include fresh veggies/fruit with high water content, whatever medium I'm drinking out of and having to save Pogo the Hahn's from diving into ...er.. did I mention the plastic kiddie pool for Tigo? Sprinklers for Tigo too... The hose on shower setting for everyone when they're on the patio (word of advice, don't forget to change the shower setting when you cheerfully stop spraying the bigger birds and turn on the smaller ones, seems GCC's get blown right off their little perches! /blush).

The only problem I have with Dewey and the waterbowl is he tends to preen himself on it and get feather sheath dust and molted feathers in his bowl.

Other than that he doesnt get pellets so he doesnt make soup out of it. I also add a little aloe vera juice to the water.

I need to look into the aloe juice thing. My guys are a bit dry. Hard to tell... as they are molting though! LOL

Aloe is supposed to be good for them when they are molting that is why I added it, I also add acai berry powder to his food, along with flax seeds and goji berries.

I have heard of some people adding bee pollen, but I want to check that out with my avian vet first.
