Personalized leg bands?

I certainly do not need 100 of them...

So, does anyone know where I might be able to get something like these?
Custom imprinted metal bird leg bands from Strombergs

I really want this "not-quite-closed and a bit too big" open style quarantine band off of Dudley... but would like a GOOD open style band applied that would actually identify him if lost.

Hey Kiddo, why don't you check with your AV??? or a local bigger bird breader (Oh no that would be KFC) I mean breeder, that might let you have one at a single price? or maybe the local avian rescue?
Obviously I don't know but I am trying to think of ideas...

I'd toss you one of my AFA registered bands, but I only have closed bands. :(

You can get a pack of 10 at KW Cages - Rabbit Cages, Rabbit Supplies, Rabbit Housing, Small Animal Cage Supplier though? I'm not sure if 'exotic' split bands are the size you need though!

My vet does microchipping for $35! I think I will do that for now and get the band removed. Only problem I will ever have is if I need a band to cross state lines at some point!

As far as I know, conures do not need a leg band for traveling around the US, unless maybe it's a golden conure, but I don't really know the transport regulations on them! (other than you may need a permit or license to move them across state borders)

Some states are getting as strict as the old import laws.

The main thing I don't like about Microchipping, is that it's not visible to someone who finds the bird and they do the whole "well, there's no band, we'll keep him!" or take them to the animal control shelter and they certainly rarely check for chipped birds.

This is why I suggest Duct Tape!

Just use a Sharpie marker to print your name and phone number upon the tape, then wrap the bird in it. Easy solution!
