DNA testing in England

Does anyone know how I do this? We weren't going to bother although we were told Chirpy is a girl and I'm sure she is a boy. However last night I got a bit over excited whilst watching sport on TV and in her cage Chirpy had a fright, boy did I feel bad. She managed to break and pull out a wing feather which had blood on the end. I felt so bad and panicked but she seemed fine (luckily) and there was no more bleeding. I thought that for all that I might as well get the feather DNA'd so we could know for sure her sex.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Michelle

Avian Vets will do it. Your nearest might be here in Crawley?

A cheaper option is sending off blood feathers. If you're comfortable plucking a blood feather then here's a link:

I believe that Avian Biotech has a branch in the UK: Avian Biotech Europe

At least "Chirpy" is a unisex name, so not like you'll give her... or him a complex!

I know, we're already pleased about that. Poor things named after the Spurs mascot though so s/he's probably already got a massive complex!!!
