Oh Ellie, I feel so sorry for you. i will be thinking of you and hoping you get Beck back real soon. Just something that happened to me once when Bo got away. She flew into a tree a couple of houses away. Too tall for me to climb, it was a gum tree. I drove down there and tried to call her out, when I drove off, she tried to fly down to the car (I saw her in the mirror). i left a notice on the local radio and when my kids got home from school, they rang me and said someone had found her walking around their yard while they were doing the washing. They realised she was a pet, as she was so tame and rang the radio knowing they had lost and found on it. I have been lucky. Best of luck and don't lose hope.

Ellie.....look low...under things....greys have a tendency to hide....often under cars, decks, Etc...
The biggest thing to do is make sure the fliers say REWARD.....most people turn them in for that.....
Chances are Beck got scared when he was left alone, and jumped and ran somewhere....
they are noisest in the early AM and late evening before sunset.
Take a recording of your other guys out in the neighborhood....play it loud and have someone trail you while playing this..Have them listen for responces........make sure you contact the animal shelters, pet stores, newpapers and the tv news...often they will run a human intrest story....
Just last night two greys were lost...I contacted teh owners for info, and within a day BOTH were home again......
