PVC tree.....now what?

My creativity has run out (oh no!). Anyone have any ideas how to spiff this PVC tree up? Its 3/4" PVC for my eclectus. Im planning on scruffin up the perch parts so she doesnt fall off, also planning on making a base...any ideas on how to make this the most fun it can be? I still have some pvc left over....and some wooden dowels...and lots of connectors...

That looks grey't, now you need to get some toys on there. Search around here, others have posted pics of their play stands with lots of toys. Good luck.

I would add some rings by taking one of the perches out, putting them on and replacing the perch. Something that might work for you is plastic teething rings for babies. You can also add hooks for hanging toys and tie some ropes here and there.

I would find some bird safe branches, cut them, and stuff the ends down the top open end of the PVC. It will be like little trees to chew on.

We did that with ours - they also feel like they are out in the trees and hang upside down on them!

You could wrap some of the perching areas with Vet Wrap. I use it on my stands and it works great. Its relatively inexpensive at a feed store. I heard on one of the chats that if you scuff up the pvc, birds can get splinters. Don't know though. Great job though..

oh growl, snarl, hisss hiss

I tried to upload, download or whatever a picture of a pvc perch I did for my birds showing that I wrapped the perches with sciscal rope. I just couldn't get it to attach so I posted it in the my members section of photo's.
I placed one end inside the end cap and them started to turn the perch until I could place the other end in the joint. It didn't take long and they have no trouble holding on. Joan, computer illiterate for sure.
