Bird Poops

How frequently do conures poop? Like every 30 minutes? Or how much?

I don't think there is any logic to when they poop LOL. Tuck Tuck has macaw sized dookies first thing in the AM and he is always polite and 99% of the time will go back to his cage if he is spending time with me (or if I am at my desk he hops down onto my keyboard as his way of saying Mommy I need to go!) to dookie. If he is on his cage though and I am watching him, I swear he does the butt shake that means dookie is eminent about every 10 seconds just like MMR said LOL

Our GCC goes almost every 10 minutes. Our Sun goes probably every 20-30 minutes. I don't know if it's because he's larger or what.

My black capped conure probably goes every half an hour. She potty trained herself never to poop on me, so if she's on my shoulder she'll either hold it in for a really long time, or scoot off the edge of my shoulder and poop. I think most conures do this, they don't like to poop on things they like to be on. My conure also doesn't poop during the night, but waits until morning and sticks her butt off the side of the cage and gives one gigantic, splattering poop!
