Seymour, Mary and Dexter look like boys to me. and Winnie and Darnel looks like girls to me.

Would you post more pictures? There are members on here, that can tell you for sure lol they are experts.

I don't know about UK... I've always used Avian Services Center: DNA sexing and disease testing for all species of birds.

Avian vets can do it or you can send feathers off if you're happy to pluck.

Winnie is a female if she has molted and is around a year old or more. Mary looks like she could be a female but it's hard to tell exactly from that pic and again, it depends on how old she is. Seymour looks like a male and Darnel also looks male. Dexter looks like he could be a female but it's hard to say from the pic. Better pictures and their ages would help a lot. They are all very pretty birds though!

Mary is a female. Only females will keep their pearling after they molt, males will lose them over a series of molts. Seymour still looks like a male to me but it's hard to tell with pieds so you usually have to go on behavior or have them DNA tested. Darnel looks like a male and Dexter looks like a female if that is pearling on the wings but it's even harder to tell with them since they are young still and are heavily pied. Behavior is usually a good way to tell. Males are generally more vocal, noisy, obnoxious and annoying, lol. Females have a tendency to be quieter and only chirp instead of sing although there are some girls that are just as noisy as the boys. The males will usually spend most of their time singing to and trying to impress the females.
I was going to have a couple of my birds DNA tested but didn't have to, they let me know if they were male or female pretty quick, lol.

Indeed, males usually tend to be noisier than females! Not always, but it's the general rule!

Males usually tend to whistle and be quite vocal, singing away, having various chirps, and doing heart wings. Here's some ideas of what 'heart wings' looks like!

Females on the other hand tend to have 2-3 chirps and that's about it. There are other ways of trying to sex cockatiels but this only works on mature birds (a year or older), and does not always work with pieds.
