Just had to share...

I am sitting here with a very happy and sleeping cockatiel on my chest. I love this little guy! It amazes me how something so small can make me feel very happy.

you know why my wife calls Zoey my Birdy Prozac then. Instant anti-depression.
They sure are a whole lot in a little package aren't they?

I always sort of ignored cockatiels, but I just finished hand raising one, and his name is Sushi, he has tunred out to be the most lovable little guy in the world, and I cant leave him out of any birdie excursion, he'll fly to my head over and over again when he wants to be included in a cuddle session or an exploration...I just love him to deatha nd hes melted my heart....hes also the fattest little guy Ive ever seen...

Kelly is right Jim! No matter what kind of day I am having, just a few minutes with my crew and I feel so much better.

Marley21, my little boy was handfed by me since he was 4 weeks old. I think the reason he is such a cuddlebug is because every time I finished feeding him, I would snuggle with him for a little while after.

It always makes me laugh when people say "Why do you have birds, they aren't affectionate like a dog or cat". There are times when I'm having a bad day and I can't wait to get home and see the gang. There is nothing better than birdie cuddles and kisses and they always seem to know when you need them the most.

When I'm having a rubbish day I just think of getting home to Chirpy and instantly I'm smiling.
Love the name Sushi!
