I thought that was just a conure thing LOL Tuck Tuck will go after any bird in the house and he's not afraid of anything. He will even go after the B&G if he gets the chance. He just doesn't know his own size!! But he and Lilly get along very well... everyone else is just afraid of his ferociousness

Oh all Conures have it to some degree. Xaf's just been blessed with a bountiful amount of it. He's ~special~.

Dudley's actual body if ya cut his tail off is a bit over 9 inches. I think he is bigger than Rudy!

I tells ya that Mitreds are closer related to Zons than Macaws... I am going to apply for a huge grant to study that fact... anyone wanna be a research "consultant"? LOL

RUDY IS SO CUTE :)

I love WFAs -- I think that they have such pretty coloring!

Best of luck with the new addition,

Actually, they are finding through genetic tests that some Conures (Mitred's being one of them) and Pionus are very closely genetically linked to Zons. There is a species of Pionus (can't remember which this minute) that is IDENTICAL in a lot of the genetic markers to some species of Amazon.

Yet another article I shall have to dig out for ya.

He's cute no matter what he's got in him LOL And he's really quiet and he makes these cute little noises that I've never heard before... not sure yet if he talks or not but he's still awesome!
