I thought that was just a conure thing LOL Tuck Tuck will go after any bird in the house and he's not afraid of anything. He will even go after the B&G if he gets the chance. Dudley's actual body if ya cut his tail off is a bit over 9 inches. I think he is bigger than Rudy!

I tells ya that Mitreds are closer related to Zons than Macaws... I am going to apply for a huge grant to study that fact... anyone wanna be a research "consultant"? LOL

Actually, they are finding through genetic tests that some Conures (Mitred's being one of them) and Pionus are very closely genetically linked to Zons. There is a species of Pionus (can't remember which this minute) that is IDENTICAL in a lot of the genetic markers to some species of Amazon.
