Introducing my DYH!

My DYH made it home Thursday evening!!! I picked her up at the airport and she seemed as eager to meet me as I was to meet her. Right away she came to the door of her carrier to greet me. We has such a long and boring ride home as there was traffic the whole ride home. She wasn't to happy about that, but was able to settle down and munched on some food.

I have to say she is a beauty!! When we got home she came right out of the carrier and stepped right up on my finger. I put her in her cage, so she could get used to her new home. Right away she started climbing around, hanging upside down and playing with her toys.

I let her be to do her thing for a couple of hours, but after that she seemed so comfortable I let her out on the gym and she was as happy as can be. She played for a while and I let her there until she started to fall asleep. She was super happy.

Her first night was great and she slept perfectly fine. Today she is still as playful and happy. She is acting as if she has lived here forever. She also makes the cutest little noises where she almost sounds like a duck. I have never heard those sounds before, it's very cute. I just adore her!!!

Here are a bunch of pictures I took of her on her gym yesterday. These pictures were only taken a couple of hours after she got home. There are LOTS of pics, so be ready - normally I take a whole bunch and post the ones that turn out good. However, they all turned out excellent and I couldn't decide, so I had to post them all. She sure does like the camera and takes excellent pics.

Anyway, here is the new baby!!!!

I am in Maryland and she came from a breeder in PA. I put a deposit down on her when she was 4 weeks old and she is now almost 4 months old. It felt like forever waiting for her, but she was well worth the wait.

Yes, she is not quite 4 months old yet. She is still a baby - they get more yellow on there head as they get older. All the young ones have just a little bit of yellow on the top of there head like her, but more comes in as they get older.
