Well, my Cubans are evil birds, but it's not their fault. They would like to rip my eyeballs out, though. Good thing they are handsome! But Willow is totally sweet, and adores everyone, loves meeting strangers, she is a delight. Aspen is suspicious and wary and likes me, but is nervous of other people. Maple is pretty easy going in general.

I have heard that the owa's make good pets. I haven't met one yet... we don't have any breeders of large birds around here :(. Mostly all I see around here for pets are DYH's which I admit I'm still a bit scared of LOL Although I have fallen in love with the pet one at the local pet store. He's always so sweet and talkative!

Male amazons terrifying me, even though I live with three of them. The Cubans have cured me of ever taking in another male 'Zon! Maple is a good boy though. I would love to share my home with a Yellow Faced Amazon, but they are very rare and I'm sure I'd not find one as a rescue. The other rare Zon I am enamored with are the Yellow Lored Amazons - absolutely adorable, as well. I think the Lilac Crowned Zons are supposed to be very sweet and they are also gorgeous, and I could certainly take one in need in as well. Also a White Faced Zon. :~) But, no more boys for me! It's scary walking into my bird room getting dive bombed by killer cubans!
