Another brilliant bird owner... LOL
I was crusing the CL ads this morning and came upon an ad for a Green Conure... we've had one being passed from home to home on our list (I think we're up to four times now) so I took a look.
The picture wasn't of a green conure... it was of a green indian ringneck!!!  OK, so I know I'm overly critical at times but shouldn't you at least know what species your bird is??

I so agree! I remember having Scarley on my shoulder one day and someone said, "oh pretty cocketiel." I'm actually looking for a cockatiel! And I asked, "where?" and she said, "your bird,,," And I correct her, "She's a Ringneck Parrakeet" and this person goes into a rant stating she had one just like blah blah blah and I tell her, "well if it was just like this one, then you had a Luntino Indian Ringneck!" Long story short, she was wrong I was right! LMBO

Ugh, I know! I see ads all the time that boil my blood when you read them. If the owner doesn't even understand what species of bird they have, that kind of tells you about the birds care...

I still love the latino cockatiels and Macall birds.

 well it is an orange tulip parrot, honestly.NO its not a yellow sided conure

Lol. I can relate. I recently saw a white bellied caique being called a sun conure. People can be so uninformed, and it is really sad in this day and age with so many ways to get information.

LMAO well I guess if they mistook a sun conure for a caique and the price was right... why not??
I always giggle at the names that people call their birds on craigs list. It's almost as bad as "pure bread" dogs!
