My Yellow Naped Amazon Fred seems to breath deeply and head bobble before he falls asleep. Is this normal?

My male mexican red head amazon does that too... it's like his sleepy dance. Of course, I am convinced that he could sleep anywhere, flat on his back, and snore like a lumberjack because when he falls asleep, nothing and I mean nothing can wake that turkey up!
