COCO's NEW BEAK !

When he was first rescued by TGF

Before Grooming

Here he is in all his wonderful glory.......

What a difference this makes. He is eating easier on his own. Before this final trim, they had to pile his food in the center of his bowl like a mountain peak, so he could scoop it better. Now he eats like a normal Macaw, and has even taken treats from Travis. His bottom beak had to have some reconstructive work on it. It was deformed from being stuck open for so long. Of course he's still very nervous, but at least he's in a better place.

WOW. That doesn't even look like the same bird. He's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!

Woah, I've never seen a bird's beak get like that. How awful! I'm glad he's looking healthy and his beak is back to normal now, it must have been painful before!
I don't know much about parrots, so I have to ask, how does that even happen?

That is amazing, I never thought they would be able to get his beak back to normal length so quickly!
