How the heck did you get over there???
Ok so yesterday I was off all day and I needed to get a few things done outside. The door to Pepps cage is never locked and I have never had a problem with him leaving his space... Sydney and Sky were in their cage so I closed them in because they will wander around.... Boomer was out on his boing and play area attached to his cage so I left him out and put the cats in the other part of the house so they couldn't bug the birds and I went outside.
I was only out there for about 15-20 minutes at the most....I came back in to find that all of the birds were having a party without me! I walked in the door and saw Peppers and Boomer both hanging out on the Too's cage! I have NO idea how Boomer got over there.....It's at least ten feet across the room from his cage and he cannot fly! He only has two flights in yet and I've seen him try...he gets nowhere! The only thing I can think of is perhaps he jumped down to the couch, went across the back of the couch, and then somehow managed to jump to their cage from there But then WHY?!?!?! The cats weren't bugging him, they weren't in that part of the house.... And then there's Peppers, he can fly, so HOW he got over there is not as much of a mystery to me...WHY still is though! He doesn't leave his cage area!....I'm so confused!! When I'm around, Peppers tries to eat the other birds, but Boomer was preening him when I walked in the door!! It was like I walked into the twilight zone or something. Sydney and Sky didn't even care that the others were invading their space...Sydney was playing Peekabo with them!.... I think they were plotting against me..... my birds are going to take over!!! I suppose I'll have to start locking Boomer up even if I'm just going outside for a minute...He's so small that I worry about him with the others.

LMAO....I could only imagine the look on your face when you walked in. The birds also were plotting and playing a trick on you! Happy early Halloween mom!!!

Speaking of Halloween, my house is also haunted!!!
The house phone rings all the time...only I don't have a house phone! Someone is constantly sweeping my floors... I can hear them, but I can never catch them. The water faucets drip...of course when I check them, none of them are dripping.... And the newest talent my "ghosts" have acquired is meowing like the cats...all of the kitties will be napping, until one of the ghosts meows at them and wakes them up! lol Maybe they were planning their next wave of scary sounds, lol!

LOL This happened to me yesterday. We went outside to feed the sheep and came back in and Alfie was over on Rudy's cage and they were sitting there looking at me like "what Mom?" I just stood there staring at them for a minute and then said thank you to the fid Gods that I have sweet birdies who like one another!
