Where do you buy the air filtration doohickeys and what type would you recommend?

We've been wanting to get these for the house just to keep everyone happy and keep the various junkie things out of the air.

Any recommendations?

All the one's I have are Honeywells. You can buy them at wally world. I currently have 6 in my house. But my youngest has severe asthma also. They work really well.

You can also buy them used on Ebay and then just buy the replacemnt filter!

I use a Homedics brethe Air Revitalizer. It just uses water, so there is no filter to replace... just keep it filled with water, and I wash them out once or twice a week. It comes with botanical oils to add to the water to freshen the air, but I don't use the oils in the bird's room. I bought the first one, and was so happy with it, I went back and bought 3 more. They run around $50, so are cheaper than buying replacement filters for the other types.

I have a "Rabbit Air" Hepa Air Filter... awesome. I have asthma and allergies. But I dont have problems like I did before I got the air filter.
