Talking Back from the Fird Fair/show...

The breeders would not let me take pics with flash.. because would upset the birds and the lighting was NOT good enough to take pics otherwise... they were trying to keep the birds calm...

Man and I fell in love with pletts.. but promised self no new fids at this time..

There was a greeenwig that was still on 2 feedings a day.. and fell in love with.. but when was trying to consider selling man for the bird.. but they took her away.. just bought...

Have new cages and almost a shopping cart full of stuff we brought home... that have yet to even take out of bags.. LOL .... will unpack later and take pics

Shammy already moved.. need to put in more natural perchs and toys.. but will do that tomorrow. Shammy is still freaking over the change a bit and is starting to settle in nicely now/today.. but did not have enought room in house to do a slow switch..
Shammy in his new cage..(mansion compared to the old one, just have not put the seed skirts on yet)... with new swing and settling in .....

Can ys say.. find the green chicken......

Pic of the base unit for the quakers.. and there is another cage that can stack/bolt on top..

Have put this one to the side after cleaning for the Quaker baby being given to me by a freind in a couple of weeks, have been promised one of the babies since not long after hatched...:)

The other cage is on a table.. and waiting for perchs to dry.. so can move Dino in ..
Real tired still after going to the fair, helping assemble the cage.. then cleaning it and the quaker cages with Pet Focus...

Shammy is not that small of a bird... LOL ... cage is almost as tall as I am..

An Alexandrine ringneck can be over twice the size of an IRN..

Pic of SHammy and I the day I got him... when got him out of cage several hours after he got here.. he ran right up arm to shoulder.. and my Man could not pass up the opportunity of a pic with THAT look on face.. waiting to see if Shammy was about to try and take an ear off or something...
