It's the bird's house...
I just live here.
What percentage of your living space is taken up by bird stuff? I would say bird accessories only take up about 20% of the room where I spend most of my time, but my home is relatively large for a single person. If I lived in an apartment...the bird would have a proportionally larger living space than I! Multi bird owners...you must feel like you have a small corner carved out of your house for the humans?

i have some sort of compulsion to expand my birds' areas way bigger than their cage playtops
sometimes after i hang up perches and boings and stuff like that i will sit down to watch tv and when i look back over at my accomplishment im like WTF was ik thinking LOL! our trailer is 12' wide and 60' long and the living room and kitchen take up about half of the whole trailer i would say 1/4 to 1/2 of the overall space in here is taken up by the birds if i had more room i would give them more options but this will have to suffice lmao |

The people who own the house that I live in (we rent) had taken half of the two car garage and remodeled it into a office. This room is the biggest room in the house and tiled, and mostly soundproof, so that is the bird room where their cages and all the bird supplies are. The best part is that it is on its own ventilation system and heating and cooling system, so I don't have to worry about cooking fumes, etc. if I shut the door (which is a heavy insulated inside/ outside door). Of course I don't use teflon or any of that mess, but for me the extra peace of mind is priceless. It is also right off of my living room, which is nice.
However, almost every room in our house has some type of playstand, java tree, jungle gym for the birds to play on. I learned a long time ago that having one or two stands and having to roll them all around the house just wasn't for me. So, one room, which is as big as the kitchen and living room put together, belongs to the birds- but the living room, library, office, sun room, and spare bedroom all have bird stuff incorporated as well. |

The whole living room of my basement suite is full of cages. I'd say the birds and their accessories are occupying about 40% of the suite.
