New sun conure pics
After a long evening of getting the little guy's cage all set up, I was finally able to get some pictures of him for you all. Let me tell you, he was not shy about getting his picture taken, he sure loved it and was even posing and waiting for me to snap the picture.
He really is a sweetie and I swear I think I heard him say "hello". I could be wrong, but I swear I heard him say it, I will know for sure when and if I hear it again. I am not quite sure about a name, but I was thinking of calling him Flame. Still not sure though. He has a bunch of pin feathers coming in on his head, but he is still adorable. I guess I will have to work on a new signature  Here is the new guy!!!

She's beautiful! She looks more like a Sunday than a Sun though. Xaf approves regardless. He gave a head tilt and chittered something meaningful at her picture. lol

 Happiness is having a shop-vac for a regular vacuum, feeling nutriberries between the toes in the mornings, & the occasional sip of hand-feeding formula when you mistake it for morning coffee. Ahh life!

Yes, now that I have proof of his age I know he is definitely not a Sun conure. I couldn't edit the title or my first post as I waited to long and it was no longer an option. No biggie though. Anyway, it is easy to mistake, regardless I am very happy with him. We just spent 2 hours together - I was just relaxing on the sofa half falling asleep watching TV and he was snuggled up under my neck and didn't make a peep, he was as happy as couple be snuggling with me.
Xaf: I know you breed and have suns and jendays, is there a way to tell if he is Jenday or Sunday? I'm thinking a Sunday, according to the pictures I saw it looks as if he has to much orange on his face and not enough yellow for a Jenday, maybe I am wrong. He sure is beautiful! I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I cannot for the life of me get clase up shots in focus, or without the flash glaring everything out!
