Store Bird gets a better home!!

I had to share with you guys, I am so happy! The Grey Amazon that was in my local pet store has been sold to a good home. We had fallen in love with him & yet felt so bad for him because the previous manager kept him for a store bird & we have seen the mistreatment ourselves first hand & his cage was always.....you know. Anyway I went in there yesterday to find my guy missing? & found out the new manager sold him to a really good home

I am sad I wont see him anymore, but the fact he will be better off now totally overrules that! Made my weekend!

Thats awesome! I have met a few store birds like that myself. Sad when you pop in and see that they are gone but happy/relieved when you know they are off on a new adventure and loving home with some one on one attention! Not to mention maybe a bigger and better cage with some new toys in it and fresh food!

Sorry if I'm being dim but what is a Grey Amazon?

Whatever it is I'm pleased it's found a (hopefully!) loving home!
