Well, we'll see.... they haven't done the conures blood work so we don't know if he's going to be sick or not....

and with an apartment there is no way to quarentine them.... don't know what to do... we kind of need to know we're bringing home a healthy bird......

So I have a question.... if it's a male and female they'll mate right??

Also, we have an apartment....we have to walk in the room my sun is in before getting to our bedroom.... if we bring this other bird home... is going one room over enough of a quarantine??

How would you do that if you don't have space??

Go with your initial decision... get the Hahns, they warm up and they become cuddly and they are wonderful talkers. I would like to meet someone who has a Hahns that has decided not to talk as mine wont shut up! You have a conure... get something different. If you dont you will just end up getting one later on down the road anyways... trust me. LOL

No, they will not mate just because they are different sexes.

Do not get the Hahn's just because it will talk though. The personality is SO much more important. If you want a Hahn's... fine. But wait to find one that picks you then! Do not just get the one you saw because it is available!

Yeah, I agree....

So what do I do if one turns out to be a girl and one is a boy? Just be careful with them? And try not to let them get all friendly with each other

I'm thinking we'll get the conure.... he was just so sweet

Time to bring another baby home
