Yeah... the put the dead cows in a pile so they can go to the pet food plant but lately they haven't been calling them soon enough so there are some rejects out there. There are a lot of coyotes out there too so she wouldn't have even made it thru the night. At least here she can be in the barn with the sheep and our Great Pyrenees will protect her.

Must be the angle of the camera cause she's full term and a big ol' girl. Most of the calves born on the lot are half that size or smaller.

Whata ya mean she's not comming in the house??? Have you seen the vid of the pet hippo? LOL She looks strong and big, so lets hope she makes it, and everything was formed properly inside! She sure is cute? I miss our cattle too! I used to live in Alberta Canada. Lot's of coyotes where we are now. They are even getting brave einough to come into town to get little dogs and cats. One of my friends grew up on a mink farm... need I say more about the feed? She still shudders thinking about it. Now she breeds paint horses.

LOL Not coming in the house. The barn is heated so she won't get cold.

A pet hippo??? LMAO Thats what I need

We are hoping to move to British Columbia when I finish my PhD.... assuming we can find a place to buy where we can still have our all animals. Talk about one heck of a move! Luckily we've got at least the next 8 years to prepare for it

geek, her head isn't dented in. She's just crusty, and in the first pic you can see her knee just behind her jaw making her head look that way. She's normal....and beautiful!

Awwww!! Congratulations! She is absolutely adorable and I can't wait to see her all cleaned up! I'm sure she will do fabulously with all the TLC she is going to get and the name couldn't be a better fit.
I can't wait to move somewhere so I can have a cow! I've loved cows since I was a kid and the people across the road from me had cows up until this past summer. I wanted to go steal every last calf, lol. I even think they are cute when they grow up.
