Thank you! I thought it was very fitting too. After I named her hubby decided he wanted to name her Bronky or something weird like that and I was like too late, I named her already

I will get more pictures of her this afternoon after we get her cleaned up, fed, and hopefully standing up!

If there is a dairy farm or a goat farm around, they usually keep colostrum on hand in the freezer.

i used to rent a farmhouse where the farmer just kept the cows on the property and when i waited for my car to warm up in the mornings i used to feed them bales of hay. they loved it and even though they stunk i loved to watch them up close... their eyes are so beautiful and full of expression. i can't believe anyone could kill and eat these amazing creatures.. unfortunately all those cows i used to feed would end up in mcdonalds burgers :(

too much senseless killing i say.. that calf really is very lucky you found her. i do hope she survives and has a long healthy life..

Thank you Glenda! We will look into that. We know most of the farmers around here so of course they will be willing to help us out of we need it.

I hope so too Kali! I agree that they are beautiful things. I can say though that the feed lot my husband works on is better than most. The cows are treated humanely and not shot up with a rediculous amount of steroids and are always watched, fed, and taken care of. Unfortunately, the end result is still the same.

Will do!! It's really funny how quickly you can become attached to something. She's sitting up better now and managed to flip herself over Good thing there are two mattresses out there for her to fall on!
