Red face My eye!!!!!

So Trinity has a thing about preening my eye lashes and my eye LIDS!!!!! She is very gentle but I'm not sure I want her beak (which can crack a coconut shell) that close to my eye. Should I let this continue or err on the side of caution?

I choose the latter, err on the side of caution. My lorikeet likes to preen my eyebrows but it is too close to my eye for comfort. While he is usually ok, there have been times when he's attempted to bite me because he didn't like me moving him away from preening my eyebrow. That bit of possessiveness is too close to my eyes for my liking. D:

i used to have a budgie that loved to do that! but she was the sweetest thing anyway, so i was never worried about her harming me but i did worry about her eating my mascara, so i didnt usually let her do it when i was wearing some..but it was pretty cute!

i let Boo nibble my eyelashes. i used to let my sulpher crested do the same thing! but i guess everyone knows their bird and you wouldn't let them do it unless you trusted them...

Jack preens my eyelashes. I only allow him to do it when he is calm and relaxed.

I have to say I let Chirpy preen my eyebrows, every now and again she'll give me a little nip but never really rough and I trust her enough. Lets hope I never regret it!

I love my birds, but there is something about those big beaks being that close to my face. You never know when something might startle your parrot and they bite out of fear, etc. I would definitely not allow preening the eyelashes and eyebrows anymore.
