I was just thinking that her name should be Angel because of her little halo......but Blessings is such an appropriate name!! She's so adorable!!!
Makes me miss being on a farm......i'm just not much of a city boy- need my room to run!!!

LOL Yes we did! My husband wanted to change her name to Halo because of it... I know enough people who actually call me that to make in confusing though!

LOL! Yeah, but I would have to say God knew what He was doing when He brought her into your life, and He even branded her for you too!

I think so too!

She just had her second feeding today and she's doing good. Still can't quite get the milk from the bottle but she is trying and we let her suck on it until she gets to where she stops and then use the tube. It's funny because as soon as we go outside and get to the barn she gets up and comes right to us. She's definitely an angel to us

I have been waiting all day to come home and check on this little Moo-Cow of yours. I am thrilled to see everything is going good. What a lucky lil' "Blessing" she is.

That really is the prettiest, cutest cow I've ever seen. I love those markings.
Are the birdies ever gonna get to go on a cow ride?

Ihave raised several calf's over the years. They all did best on fresh goats milk. If you can find a milk goat that will let her suckle that would be even better.

The best thing for diarrhea I have found is a couple of capsules of acidolpholus in their milk.

Good job!!!!

Thank you everyone :) She is still up and about and doing good. She even ventured out of the barn to check out what the sheep were doing

Thank you Glenda! We are hoping to pick up a goat from a friend of ours this friday who is full of milk and good at allowing surrogates Till then, thankfully, she seems to be doing good on the synthetic stuff.

LOL And we'll be sure to take a few fids out for cow rides
