Smile How long have you all had your birds??

I've seen good posts on here of how many birds you have and what kinds.... I'm wondering how long some of you have had your birds for?

Anyone have them over 10 years, 20, 30??

Have you had birds all your life?
How old were you when you got your first bird?

Any good stories about your first bird??? I think being a new person it would be nice to hear some funny stories from the experts here about their first bird and even a funny story when you were so stressed for nothing???

Because that's all I am most of the time being a new parront! Have you experts out there ever lost your cool over something you know to be so silly now??

It might be kind of interesting to hear some stories from everyone here!!

I'll go first lol.... I've had my 1st bird for 1 month now :) My finace had cockiteils when he was younger too.

I had budgies growing up, then went birdless for about 15 years. My next bird came when I was 32...Jingles my cockatiel! He's 6 now, and a few years ago we took in Smokey Joe, an anti-social little tiel who was in need of a home. According to the previous owner, he should be 7 or 8 now. He's actually come a long way and will step up for me, but that's it.
NOW I'm waiting for the arrival of my first B&G, Tiku...and just got word today that he should be ready to make the trip home in 3 weeks!
Well, that's about it!

I was 3 when we got our amazon Albert!! He is 16 now. And I had a tiel when I was about 8, but she passed away in the night when I was about 11. It was really sad for me.

And now I'm waiting to get a Sun Conure :) I'm asking for a cage for Christmas. Haha. Get started now since it may be a year until I get one.
