I just got this cant wait to get it up tonight.. I thought it was going to be small not not big but i was wrong its really big..

My breeder swears by ionizers and she's had all types of birds for the past 30 years. I don't have one but was looking at a honeywell model air purifier. What's the story on these things?

Are birds terribly bad for asthma? Would one budgie be a health risk?

No, but ionizers are really bad for people with asthma as well. If you get an air purifier... turn the ionizer off. I have asthma and I have 5 birds. Just avoid being owned by cockatoos, cockatiels, africa greys and amazons.

Right for having a "cold" for the past 4 months gettign really bad this morning when cleaned birds out (itchys eyes,nose and trouble breathing) which calmed down only after taking inhaler, antihistamine and nasel sprey doc gave me I think I might need one of this air things.

Looking around will this be okay?

YIKES! I didn't know the Ionic breeze were bad for them. I have two of them but not in their room. I have one in my bedroom and one in my office, away from them. Why does it scar their lungs? I'm getting one of these filters Kelly suggested.
