Hi everyone It has been awhile since I have been on. Just wanted to say hello to everyone and to tell about about a expierence we had sunday. My son was over at my house him and his dad was playing ping pong while I was cleaning up Sids cage. Sid always sits on top of the cage while Im cleaning or trying to climb on me while I cleaning. Well anyway I had to go inside for a minute. I am the only person Sid will have anything to do with so my son got ready to go inside he got his hat and tried to persuade Sid to go into his cage.I guess the hat scared him and he flew off. Well we all looked for him then my son and I went into the woods looking. It was dark then to make a longer story short we knew where Sid was just couldnt get him. We could hear him in the trees screaming mama. Well tues morning I went back to the woods Sid saw me and started calling mama.Sid trid to climb down but couldnt and when he tried to fly down he ended up in another tree. We went and rolled his big cage to where he was and he managed to fly to it. And it was off to the vet we went.

Aw, that's sweet that he calls to mama

He didn't get injured or anything right? Just a little flight scare?

I hope he's okay and back in his little home :)

The vet said that she was suprised sid didnt get any cuts or abrasions or anything being gone for that long but she did put him on some medicine for for respitory (spelled wrong) infection just for a safety precaution since the last couple of nights was cool. He goes back to the vet next week to be checked and to have beak and nails trimmed and of course to get his wings clipped.

Glad to hear he is back safe and sound! I couldn't imagine one of mine getting loose.
