It is difficult to explain or what to do. Try just moving things from one side to the other for now and see how he like that!

I love the beaded treat holders! I would suggest getting him one of those long rope perches that you can zig zag around the entire cage. This will help exercise his feet a little, giving him a little different size of perch to climb on. I would recommend getting like the 1/2" round size for Petrie's little feet. I would also recommend taking the safety pin out in case he gets it opened. You can use a plastic zip-tie in it's place.

Petrie's looking real cute and happy. I don't remember seeing the pic of him with the toothpick (?) before. His cage also looks real nice. I'm not suer what a buddha perch is to be honest. My tiels do like those cement pedicure perches for some reason. And mine seem to prefer a thicker perch generally maybe because they spend a lot of time out of the cage, 'flat footed'. His toys are nice. If I did have any suggestions it would be that he might like a perch near/to his water. I use the rope perches for that and they always seem so cute and happy travelling down them to get their waters. Does he really need the padlock? LOL that is so funny. But seriously, better safe than sorry! These guys are little masters of mischief.
