Giant spider eats bird

THESE amazing images of a mammoth spider devouring a bird were taken in the backyard of an Atherton property, west of Cairns.

People are taking pictures of it!!!! I would be as far away from it as possible. If I walked outside and saw that, I would move. Literally move. Have any of our Australia members seen one in person?

it kind of looks like the banana spiders we had in texas
much larger of course

That photo was pretty darn amazing. That spider built a web strong enough to hold a bird! Wow! And then when you see it wrap its legs around the body... that's really incredible.

Ok so my curiosity got the better of me and that was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. I hate spiders I just hate them they are evil and scary. I dont know if I will sleep tonight.
