I have that same one... I will look and see how I did it...
Those small pieces slip over the edges of the large ones.

LMAO...I died laughing at your subject line. I think my birds think the same thing of me at times.
Easy way- If the zip tie works, what's the problem! LOL hard way- I would take the small screws and nuts to put it together!

usually you'll screw the two longer sides in and then slide the shorter ones in over the top!
or maybe you just got the dodgy one.

I have a seed skirt like that but it doesn't require any screws to install it. Look at the bottom edge of the seed skirt, near the corner but not all the way at the end. See that little spike sticking out? On my seed skirt, those spikes fit into little holes in the bar just under the seed skirt. If yours works this way, you've got the pieces upside down! Look underneath for holes, and if you find them you need to flip the seed skirt pieces over.
Once the pieces are all inserted into the holes, my seed skirt snaps together at the corners. I'm guessing that maybe yours is supposed to be screwed together at the corners instead.

LOL! Glad you got it fig'gerd out! Don't feel bad. Ours came with just a picture and no other instructions on how to put it together! It took us a while to get it together, too.
![]() Using zip ties is kind of a neat idea....'round here I use bailing twine for all my jury-rigging...Hubby has duct tape, I have bailing twine!! ROFLOL!
