Thoughts on Senegals, Red-Bellies, or Dusky Conures?

I haven't seen too many Senegals, Red-Bellied parrots, or even Dusky Conures on Birdboard and we're definitely thinking of getting one- I just wanted to know if anyone had any reassuring stories? Hmmm... maybe "reassuring" is the wrong word since I love all 3 :)

My husband and I saw a pair of Dusky's at our local bird-specialty store and pretty much died. They were such lovers

Please share thoughts!

I hve a dusky and he is my heart and soul, hes my luv bug and my cuddle bug and my angel. I just cant say enough good things about him. I finished his hand feedings and we bonded more than Ive ever bonded with another bird. Hes just the most expressive, determined and ready to please bird ever. He is very mischievious and loves to throw things but also loooooves to make mommy laugh and smile, he shows off non stop for me. He also loooves all my other birds, cockatoos excluded of course, and he'll spend hours preening them and tickling their feet and making sure they have enough food in their bellies( he regurgitates for everyone). Hes just got a huge heart and soul....hes my favorite, out of all my birds, which is mean because I love them all but Id choose him if I could only have one....

Sennie's properly raised are awesome birds, but can be territorial around other birds. Red-bellieds are really, really nice! I have a friend that raises them, she has adults as pets (because you can't just go by baby personalities) and they're really engaging.
