Martha Stewart and her Cockatoo

Ok, I am currently watching Martha Stewart and it is still going on but she has a Cockatoo on her shoulder while preparing chocolate brownies with the twin boys from a Disney Show.

When they were tasting it...she let the bird taste it to....

Ok....Chocolate and birds don't mix.....

Doesn't Miss Martha know that?

I didn't know she had a cockatoo??? I'm guessing the bird is there as basically a prop so no, she probably should, but most likely doesn't realize that the chocolate is a no no for birds.

Bird Care and more decorating ideas, organizing tips, and homekeeping and cleaning solutions on marthastewart.com
is that the too that she had with her?

I have seen her with that too a few times. If so it is one of Marc's bird that has taken a liking to her and if she had the time she would keep him.

I didn't see the episode, but the M2 probably isn't going to drop dead from a tiny piece of brownie :-). Size of the animal, as well as the "strength" of the chocolate (how dark it is) determine what can be nibbled, and what is fatal. Big ol' Great Dane eating a Hershey's milk chocolate bar isn't likely to have problems. Li'l tiny Chihuahua eating a piece of 96% dark chocolate or cocoa might require a trip to the vet for emergency treatment to save its life. Most brownies are more sugar and flour than chocolate, so the M2 is probably fairly safe from harm if he only had a little nibble.
