okay to bring over another bird for a visit?

Our Sun conure has been acting weird for the last couple days... healthy but she doesn't want to come out of her cage...

we took her to the vet 2 weeks ago, everything was fine

BUT we're having people over tonight that wanted to bring their GCC... do you think it would be okay?

Or do you think with our bird acting silly, possibly nesty that it's not a good idea

The other bird will have it's own cage while it's here.

What does everyone think?

I don't know, Plus you can never bank on them getting along. Also what about the other bird? Usually when a new bird comes to your house there is a quarintine time!

I honestly don't know what to advise. I can see both sides.

Nope, nope nope....rather safe then sorry.
If your bird is sick, they can get the other bird sick and vice versa.
If one is a carrier and does not appear sick, it can still get your bird sick and vice versa.
Play dates are not a good idea..
