Of course I watch my guys during the day and pay attention to what they do. Sophie and Cricket never nap. Once they wake up and eat breakfast they are in it for the long haul and don't sleep until birdy bedtime.
Zoey and Benji on the other hand will nap at every opportunity threw out the day. They eat and play but its obvious (like me) the love their naps!!

My birds definitely take naps. All day long like yours. They are so cute when they tuck their heads under their wings. I try to make everyone else in the house stay quiet while they nap, lol.

shadow naps when we nap.. its too cool. his cage is in the bedroom so if we lay down to take a nap, he climbs right into his happy hut and takes a nap with us!

Habob always takes a nap when we take a nap....usually afternoon! while Pepeet, my budgie, don't take a nap !

my gray Merlin takes naps. If I stay up to late in the evening and he feels that it's bedtime he says "goodnight Merlin... I love you" and makes a kissing sound. Which is what I do every night before I go up to bed. If I don't go to bed he continues to repeat it till I do go.

My tiels are some nappin' birds. They take about 3 naps per day. Whiteboy takes very light naps, maybe two for just a few minutes at a time. In all the eight months I've had the boy, he's only put his head under his wing during the day once that I can remember. I was actually worried that he was sick when he did that, but I guess he was just tired. Lukey has developed a pattern of taking a good nap around 2:00pm every day. Aren't they cute when they're sleeping? Just like little kids and puppies and kittens.
