Well I was feeling so special because I knew right away that the first pic was of a pionus, but the second picture has left me confused! If anything, I would have to guess a grey for the second picture, even though their eyes don't normally get that reddish-tint.

Macaw is WAY off.

Grey incorrect as well... just not quite as far off.

Have a feeling this is wrong, cos of the amount of skin around the eye but... Ruppell's Parrot?

Not sure this lil one would fit in with your house! He's a tentative baby, takes a while to trust and is a bit spooky about the big birds. He'd be a great bird for someone with no other birds or maybe 1 other. Most of my chicks are extroverts, but he's not.

He's got amazing colour! Really a stunning bird. I didn't breed him as I don't currently have a BW pair. I got him from a good friend when he was still in the egg and her hen stopped sitting. She does the whole 'natural incubation' thing, so if her hens stop sitting, she won't incubate and lets nature decide. So, I asked to finish off the incubating and she let me. Now I'm bouncing back and forth about keeping him for my future BW pair, or selling him once he's fully weaned.
