Update on the seven dwarfs

I just wanted to let you all know that the little guys that I have at my house right now are doing great. Matt and I have started calling the the dwarfs since there are seven of them, lol.

The tiel with the messed up feet and the plucked lovie are living together and getting along great. My tiel buddy has been whistling with me a lot and he's actually started coming out of the cage to me if I open the door and sit by it for a while. He is unsure of stepping up because of his foot trouble but when I just put my hand gently under him he will come right to me. The little plucked lovie is already starting to get her feathers back too!

The other tiel is living with the two parakeets and they all seem to be best buddies. It's a little bit of a wierd combination but they all get along so I didn't want to upset them. The tiel is already starting to get some down back in places too but there are places on his head that he has been plucked for so long that nothing is going to come in there anymore. :( That group went to the vet this week and aside from the plucking, all appear very healthy :)

The little violet lovie (I think it is actually a whitefaced sea green violet but I'm not sure) and the other lovie are very happy to have their own accomodations as well.
