LOL! You'd return Cricket to me and curse me to everyone! His nickname in my house is Linda Blair.

Ashling- AU$295
Peanut-AU$35 Indi-U$45 Topaz-AU$20 Ash's cage- AU$120 Tiel's cage- AU$400 Toys and food... still counting :p It's amazing the kinds of birds you can get as rescues for free over there! I swear I'm going to move to the US one day. Larger parrots are just too valuable over here to be given away. The macaws, greys and amazon at the local petshop are worth more than my second hand Mercedes Benz (the car needed some work, but still!)

I've got one brat! I think two would complete the circle!
LOLCharlie - Mitred Conure - Free - Handraised mitreds go for $300-$600 Noel - Cherry Head Conure - Free - Handraised CH's go for $200-$400 Casey - Cockatiel - $15 or $25 - she was apparently a gift to myself before I knew she existed! Figure that one out! >.< - Handraised, tiels go for $50-$150 usually Pistachio, Kiwi, Tomi Girl, Faye - more tiels, all free - parent raised are $25 and up usually Smurf, Sora, and ??? - budgies - free - depending on where you buy they are usually $5-$30 ($30 if handraised, up to $25 if parent raised) Georgia & Sophia - more budgies - $10 for the both of 'em! got 'em at discount, too Bourke - free - prob sell for $50 and up All the birds, except for Casey, Georgia, and Sophia are second hand birds. I've actually owned 8 tiels, but I have found 3 of them new homes! No matter what, I'll always keep Charlie, Noel, and Casey. The other guys, well if forced I'd find them new homes (which I already need to downsize the flock, but easier said than done, here!)

How about 4,500€ - $5,737
That's the price I saw a Green Winged Macaw for sale in a pet shop in Barcelona for, so I think I got a really good deal from the breeder. I believe breeders, at least in Spain have to abide by very strict rules. Dunno how it is in the States, but my breeder won't let a bird go until it is off weening and eating on its own and has had all the necessary health checks, chip implant and perminent ankle ring with their identity done. Dino was born and bred here in spain, but if I go back for a mate for him, the rest have been shipped in from the USA because all of the GWs he's bred, and even some that aren't born yet, have been sold. The good thing is, laws in Spain are very strict on importing exotic animals and only professional breeders can import them. I can actually say now that I will get Dino a mate, having seen how happy Sol & Luna are together, and that it doesn't seem to have detracted them from their love of Fran (their owner.
