Anybody's dream bird an Umbrella Cockatoo? If so.. why?

Why would anyone dream of a U2 when they could have a Harlequin Macaw?

LOL A U2 wasn't my dream bird... but I do adore Bebe. Too's have great personalities and well, I think the dust smells yummy!

But.... if I was gonna buy one, I'd buy a Jasper

I will take a Ducorp's or Gallah... but it would really depend on the U2. If I decide to get married and stay home I might rethink it more. I do ADORE them... I just like something that is snugly, yet feisty and independent at times as well. If I could get a BABY U2... I would probably do it. I have fostered too many that had some pretty major psych problems from bad upbringing.

I LOVE Ducorp's cockatoos! I wouldnt mind a goffins either, they are the only birds I think smell really good (I know, Im wierd). But I would have to have like a hospital grade air filtration system with all that dust.

The parts, yes, the knowledge, no! Of course I did share your info with hubby and his response was "is that it?" Plus, if I made Jasper's, I would have to wait until Huntress, Geek, and Meredith got theirs before I could have one!

If we're gonna discuss other too's, I prefer Goffins to U2's (no offense to Bebe or any other lovely U2 on BB). I also love the look of the Ducorp's although I have not had the privledge of meeting one yet.

Halo, maybe you will get to meet one at your bird fair. They are the sweetest cuddlebugs, and nowhere near as loud as the U2s and M2s. Plus I love their bluish tint.

I sure hope so!! I am so looking forward to meeting all different kind of birds tomorrow that I haven't met yet!! Of course first on that list is a hanh's... and I have to see if parrotlets are REALLY that cute and tiny ... and I hope to see a hybrid macaw in person too. OK I've seen a Ruby but I wanna see one of the Catalina, Camelot, Shamrock, or Jaspers. (Isn't it funny how the harlequin has changed to Jasper? ). I'd also like to see a military. Oh and LSC's too. Oh who am I kidding, I wanna see them all! I'm thinking I should bring my camera
