You just have to move to FL temporarily, then you can get one, and move back.

Hey, it worked for me!

You guys can fight for the Mitreds all you want. I want the Mexican Red Head listed on his sight. That was the first kind of parrot, other than a parakeet, that I met. Not that I'd trade my boys for anything in the world but had I found a Mexican before I got either of them I would have him/her now. I'm almost afraid to ask Kevin anything about about the Mexican(s) he has for sale because PA and NY are close enough I could make the trip.

Well, for the moment we have worked things out. In order to get them in and out of the bird room to the aviary, I hold the carrying cage up in front of my face, they rush in to try and eat my eyeballs, and I close the door! Hahahahaha! Works everytime!

ETA: Ohhh! Tom, make the trip! Bring me a MRHA too! AND a Pi! :~)

Did you have a permit to transport them across state lines If not, I'm afraid I will have to confiscate them...common..hand them over....

Actually, I was very concerned at the time I was moving and I emailed someone at I think the usda (I can't remember now, it's been almost 5 years) and asked. She told me I did not. I asked regarding transporting them as my pets across state lines due to moving. (Which was the true scenario!)

So, ha! :~)
