Question! What to look for when seeing/buying bird?
So, we have finally found a bird! A one year old Sun Conure with cage/toys/food. He's been DNA'ed and is a male, and says he has been hand fed and is hand tame. He's $300 with everything.
We're supposed to go see him tomorrow sometime, and the owner said she'll meet me somewhere so I don't have to drive all the way out (hour away). I'm just wondering what are some good things to look for when seeing him? To make sure he is in good health, has been taken care of,etc. And to make sure he is really only around a year old? Thank you! PS: Would it be better to just drive all the way out to their home to see him? That way we wouldn't have to worry about taking him out and him getting away and whatnot? And that way we can handle him more. |
