Cockatiel or Parrotlet

I've had loads of teils and still have my childhood teil. However I'm not sure if you can get Parrotlets in this country. Not seen any :p

So for that reason I choose Teil.

If you get a cockatiel make sure it is hand raised and friendly. I've heard so many great stories of people and their tiels but mine were kind of wild and never really bonded to me the way the birds I have now have.

I think they are both great birds if you get the right one. I'd go visit some and see if one in particular takes to you.

I've never seen a parrotlet so can't really comment on them. I love my tiel though, he's very friendly but also has a nice independent streak. I vote Tiels!
