Avian Vet in SE Michigan?

Hi there
We have our B&G Macaw Leon for almost two months now and just to be on the secure site, I am looking for a good avian vet in the Ann Arbor area, can somebody give me some tips?
Does anybody know the guys from the Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital in Ann Arbor? We have a great vet for our dogs and cats and he recommendet them because they are avian specialists, but I have not been reading any comments regarding the treating of Parrots of them yet.

Thanks, Rahel

Yes Monica, I did and this already has helped. But I just wondered what people that are in the SE Michigan area have to say about the vets they are going to.

I used to know someone who takes her Grey to the Animal Kingdom avian vet, and I believe they were fairly pleased, but I have never been there myself. I live very close to the Toledo border and my avian vet is in Toledo - Dr. Susan Orosz. I've been happy with her.

I have gone to the Cedar Creek Vet Clinic in Williamston Michigan, it is about 20 minutes southeast of Lansing, they are great. They have 2 Avian vets.

I have been at the Animal Kingdom to check them out. The place looks very nice and clean, the people are really nice there. So I will try them and see how they will handle us.
Thank you for your advices!
