Question can i keep my cockatiels pellet inside a quaker oatmeal box.

i dont liek the plastic bags cuz they dont close to well so i was thinking of keeping the pellet inside a quaker oatmeal box. can i do this or do u not recommend it .

I don't see anything wrong with that. Birds can eat oatmeal... they can chew on cardboard... seems safe to me

nothing seems wrong with that...the only thing that comes to mind for me is that the pellets might go 'stale' quickly. and it would be open for ants and such to get at it.

Seems fine to me but am with Greencinnacheeks in saying that it may go stale quickly.
I use a container with a seal tight lid. Why not try something like that? They're [retty cheap at WalMart or The Dollar Store

i got a gallon sized container with a wide plastic lid at walmart for like $2 i think
i put my fruity zupreem in there because otherwise the fruitiness goes away quickly

I have a big ol like 30 gallon tote that I mix the food in and keep it in.

Then again, I have a whole herd to feed A smaller one would probably work for most
