As promised.. BW Pionus

Here's the baby and his actions. See, he doesn't 'avoid' humans, he rather likes company. He just doesn't particularly enjoy touching yet.

When he's content or sleepy... he makes the most adorable sound I've ever heard. I'll try and capture that tonight. It's like a whiny purr! lol

He smells nice too. Kinda a sweet 'foresty' scent. I usually end my day by planting him on my chest when I'm browsing the web and snort in his feathers. I always get excited when my WC and BH babies arrive, all those warm, sweet smelling bodies making little happy, sleepy churring sounds. /melt melt

He's going to be beautiful.

He's already got a mouth on him doesn't he? At the moment my boys are doing their, 'the sun is setting so I'm going to scream like a macaw' noises. I might go crazy glue their beaks shut.

I crack up each time I hear Bing's making cawing sounds. My Hahn's babies all bark like yip yip dogs, so Pogo does it too. Crazy kids. The BW Pi though? Never loud. That's pretty much the extent of his volume. When he wants something in particular he just climbs down his cage and WALKS in to find me! Then he looks up at me like "Hey stupid, pick me up!" LOL

He still has the little baby bobbing thing going on. He is adorable! Sounds like someone in the background is a little jealous of the attention going to baby.
