Final four...
Okay, so I have been researching basically every type of parrot imaginable... even some non-hook bills... I have been researching them because I am looking to add another bird to my flock.
As some of you guys know I was thinking about getting a macaw... but I am not sure I am ready to make that long and heavy of a commitment just yet... so I ruled them out. And so I have been searching for the perfect bird for me... I think I have narrowed it down to 4 species: (not in any specific order) 1. Hahns macaw 2. Black capped conure 3. Jenday conure 4. Sun conure I have done extensive research on each species, Plus I have been to Omar's (my local exotic bird shop) like twice a week playing with each of these species (And more). I think any of these birds would fit well into my house.. I just wanted know your guys' personal biases and perception of each species  So tell me what you think.

hehe Honestly? If I had to choose between them, I would pick a Hahn's. I love the little devils.

Hahns, hands down! My Beaker is absolutely hysterical, and scary smart. Such a joy. Along with my Goffins, I think I have the two goofiest clown birds on the planet!

I love my little Davey so I am biased toward the Hahns but I was going to say that if you have a chance to interact with all of them choose the one for which you feel the strongest bond or connection.

i love the hahns but i gotta say black capped conure. i just love them they have such a HUGE personality and are little feathery balls of energy!

Hmmm..... i see....
Everyone is biased...... I guess I will just have to let the bird choose me (like I should have been doing this whole time  ) Who knows... maybe I'll come home with something completely different from what I had in mind....
